The Villages of Appledore & Instow are situated in North Devon EX39 Postcode area with plenty of parking.
The Appledore & Instow Regatta is located at:
APPLEDORE QUAY SIDE
Many events will happen off Appledore Quay including Greasy Pole, Crabbing Competition with the Quay offering an excellent viewing point for all Sailing & Rowing events.
INSTOW BEACH
Rowing crews will be setting up and setting off from Instow Beach. This is an excellent location for supporting local Teams and Clubs and for having fun on the sandy beach.
Please use all available parking and avoid blocking any entrances to properties.
The Appledore Instow Ferry will be operating, tides permitting and can provide an opportunity to carry you from one side of the river to the other.
BY ROAD: From the M5, Junction 27 head for North Devon on the A361 for Barnstaple.
When you reach Barnstaple take the first left and head for Instow on the A39, before you go over the Bideford Bridge (over the River Torridge) turn right for Instow.
For Appledore continue over the Bridge and turn right onto Heywood Road A386 towards Appledore, after a mile turn right onto Churchill Way and this will lead you into Appledore.

The 'Regatta Day' takes place on Appledore Quay and Instow Beach however parking is very limited, so please use the Pay & Display Parking where available at:
APPLEDORE
Churchfield Road - Odun Road - Torridge Road
Appledore Pay & Display Parking has disabled parking spaces, toilets and access via a slipway to the River, located opposite St Mary's Church along the Quay with additional Pay & Display Parking located on opposite the North Devon Maritime Museum on Odun Road and Torridge Road, West Appledore.
INSTOW:
Marine Parade Car Park
Instow Pay & Display Parking is located at the north end of Marine Parade on the left hand side past The Boathouse. Toilets are located opposite the entrance of the car park. Further parking is available along Marine Parade.
BY BOAT: Appledore Quay is a 'Free Port' with free Quayside moorings.
The Main Car Park slipway near the Seagate Hotel Appledore does attract slipway fees.
However the slipway at the other end of the Quay is free.
