RNLI - Appledore Lifeboat Crews will be ever present during the Regatta and we thank them for their continued support.

We also thank W.E.A.R.A. and the many Rowing Clubs and Crews for their continued participation in the Appledore & Instow Regatta.

SAFETY FIRST!

The Torridge River running between Appledore and Instow Villages is a tidal river, with extremely fast flowing waters and undercurrents, all year round, even at low tide. Care must be taken when entering the water.

The Appledore Instow Regatta supports the RNLI 'Respect the Water' Campaign, which is the RNLI national drowning prevention campaign highlighting the risks, helps you avoid them and gives advice to keep you and those around you safe.

Further details can be found here at RNLI Safety.
